A Beach in Lindos

The village of Lindos truly is a very picturesque sight to behold. The dazzling white structures of traditional houses, churches, and schools, not to mention the distinct form of the walled acropolis atop the hills can instantly leave one breathless with awe.

Yet the old world appeal of Lindos does not in any way contrast with the healthy and exuberant recreational attractions that the village can offer. Dozens of tents and beach umbrellas are laid out along the expanse of the pristine beach found just at the foot of the hill where both locals and tourists mingle together and enjoy water sports and fun beach activities such as swimming, sun bathing and boating.
