Wine of Rhodes

Wine is a very important part of every meal in Rhodes, Greece so it comes as no surprise to find out that many villages and towns in the island produce their own wine. The topography and climate in Rhodes, Greece is perfect for growing grapes and it is these grapes that are harvested and turned into rich, delicious wine for locals and visitors to enjoy.

You can still find many towns and villages in this Greek island whose major industries are still based n agriculture. Acres and acres of wine groves provide homemade wine, and even in the interior of the island where the land is mostly mountainous and hilly, grape vines are still grown and wine is made.

The villages of Lindos, Afantou, Siana, Embonas, Archangelos and Faliraki are some of the many grape growing, wine producing places you would find in this fair and bountiful Greek island so be sure to have a glass or two of wine when visiting Rhodes.
