Walk For Wishes® is a nationwide Make-A-Wish® fundraiser that celebrates the more than 375,000 wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. It’s a family-friendly event powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, donors, and friends.
Join us at the 3rd Annual Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley’s Walk for Wishes 2025, presented by Rhodes and Matt’s Building Materials, where you can make a difference for children in the Rio Grande Valley!

Our event is held at Tres Lagos Park. Enter from Ware Road and parking will be available at Tres Lagos Park. Overflow parking will be available at the Tres Lagos Community Center.

How long is the route?
The route is approximately 3.1 miles.
How can I get my t-shirt?
T-shirts are available for pickup on Friday, September 5th from 1pm-6pm at the Neuhaus Tower (Chase Tower) in Conference Room 1 on the 1st floor. Address: 200 South 10th Street, McAllen, TX 78501
You can also get your T-shirt at check-in on the day of the event from 7:30am-8:15am
What should I bring?
The weather is expected to be sunny and hot. We recommend sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
Can I donate at the event?
Yes! You may donate here.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Pets on leash are welcome to join the event.
